Joinery close to the workshop
Custom House is local to us, so it is one of the easiest areas for surveys and smaller measured-storage projects. The housing mix is practical rather than uniform: ex-local-authority flats, older streets near Prince Regent Lane and newer apartment buildings around Royal Docks.
Compact fitted wardrobes. Bedrooms in local flats often need one or two made-to-measure bays rather than a full wall of joinery. We plan hanging, shelves and drawers around the exact wall length rather than forcing a standard carcass size.
Built-in storage for everyday kit. Hallway cupboards, utility storage and awkward recesses are common Custom House briefs. These are usually plain, hard-working pieces where the important details are depth, access and easy cleaning rather than decorative mouldings.
New-build apartment joinery. Around Royal Docks, we plan around service lifts, concierge rules and clean modern rooms. The lack of period mouldings can make a simple flat-fronted wardrobe or storage wall look very settled if it is measured tightly.
Local access
Because the workshop is nearby, surveys are usually easy to fit in. Install still follows the same process as any other project: measured visit, fixed quote, design sign-off, workshop build and a planned install slot.
