Canning Town fitted furniture
Canning Town is close to our E16 workshop, and most local work is in apartment developments where the storage problem is simple but exacting: modest bedrooms, clean plaster walls, limited cupboard space and building access that needs planning.
Apartment wardrobes. New-build bedrooms often have one clear wall and not much spare depth. We design compact hinged or sliding wardrobes around bed position, sockets, skirting and the available delivery route through the lift.
Hallway and utility storage. Apartments often need a shallow cupboard for coats, shoes, vacuum cleaners or laundry storage. These pieces are usually less decorative than a living-room cabinet, but the fit matters because every gap shows in a modern room.
Older local terraces. Away from the main developments, Canning Town still has older streets where the briefs are closer to the rest of East London: alcove units, bedroom wardrobes and small fitted storage around chimney breasts.
Access planning
The practical constraint in Canning Town is often not the room, but the route to it. We measure lifts, corridors and loading access at survey and decide whether carcasses can arrive assembled or need to be built up inside the flat.
